Jorge Martín started the 2022 season with pole position for the MotoGP Qatar Grand Prix. However, after a bad start which saw him drop back down to tenth, the Spanish rider was later taken out by Francesco Bagnaia’s Ducati, who was trying to overtake him, causing them both to crash.
At the moment of the crash, apparently Martín had not suffered any injury, but later the Spanish rider confirmed to the media that he felt a pain in his right hand.
According to motosan.es website, Martín was seen on Monday in Barcelona by specialists who carried out various medical tests which ruled out any kind of injury, which is undoubtedly great news for the Pramac Ducati rider. For the specialists, the pain that Martín feels in his hand is a result of the blow, but without any seriousness.
This will allow the Spanish rider to concentrate on his preparation for his next championship race in Mandalika, Indonesia.
