“Good day, guys. Unfortunately, I’m still here at home in Australia, due to testing positive for Corona. I’m currently unable to travel and will miss the team presentation. I just wanted to let you all know that I’ m doing fine, no symptoms and still able to continue on with my training here. I’m missing you all and can’r wait to see yo all very soon.” Jack Miller used his Twitter account to communicate through a video that he has Covid. The Ducati rider is asymptomatic, but he can’t travel, and so he won’t be able to be in Borgo Panigale next week for the team presentation.
But the biggest problem are the tests in Malaysia on February 5th and 6th. Theoretically, two weeks should be enough for him to become negative, and Jack’s plan at this point is to fly directly to Sepang from Australia.
To do this, he’ll have to have a negative PCR test, performed no more than 72 hours before departure and, upon arrival in Malaysia, he’ll be subjected to another swab, as required by the health protocol that applies there for all professionals.
“I managed to avoid it for a long time before it jumped up and bit me,” Jack said jokingly. “Anyway, we’re all fine and waiting to be able to travel again.“
