He’s baaack. Last year, Hayden Gillim returned to the MotoAmerica paddock after what was basically a two-year hiatus to race a Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson in the Mission King Of The Baggers series and he finished third in the championship. He also dipped his toe in the water at Pitt Race with a one-off Stock 1000 ride. Despite missing practice and qualifying on Friday because he was at home in Kentucky working at his day job, Gillim put the Disrupt Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000 on the podium with his third-place finish. For 2022, Hayden will return to the MotoAmerica Series full time to compete in both the Medallia Superbike and Stock 1000 classes. We caught up with Gillim to chat about all of that on this week’s episode of Off Track With Carruthers And Bice.
