Yamaha didn’t have much news in these tests in Barcelona, apart from Franco Morbidelli having been working with a carbon swingarm and an aluminum swingarm. So the team looked to anticipate some work for the German GP that will take place in a week’s time.
Who confirms this decision is Massimo Meregalli, director of the Yamaha factory team in MotoGP, who also shares some feeling of dissatisfaction with the result of the work.
‘As usual, the Monday after races is a long day. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any new items to test but we always tried to make the most of what we had. We’ve tried a couple of setups that might work at Sachsenring, but either way, we’re not that happy. At least we have some work done’, he told motogp.com.
