You may have heard of a circuit called the A1 Ring in the late 1990s or early 2000s that was used for Formula 1 races. This is the same track that was bought by Red Bull after it was expired. After reopening in 2011, it started to host F1 again and for the 2016 calendar it’s a new track for MotoGP. This means learning new braking points, suspension setups and data acquisition for all drivers and teams. Honda’s ruse to have a motorcycle like the RC213V-S that is closest in racing trim to a modern MotoGP motorcycle that a consumer can buy. This means Pedrosa and Marquez can ride a new route to collect knowledge and route data, all on a street bike!
