Binder spent much of his road racing career at KTM, joining Moto3 in 2012 through the Red Bull Rookies Cup before joining the main Ajo Motorsport roster at KTM in 2016.
The South African dominated the season to win the Moto3 crown before spending three seasons in Moto2 with the Ajo KTM team, finishing second in 2019.
Binder finished with the KTM factory team in MotoGP last year and was amazed when he scored his and the Austrian brand’s first win just three laps after the start of the season in Brno.
“I’m super, super happy to have signed with KTM for three more seasons and it will take up to ten years,” said Binder.
“It’s unbelievable to have been with this manufacturer for so long and we’ve always had a good relationship.
“I’m very happy with the KTM colors, so it’s especially gratifying to have signed a long contract.
“It’s cool to have that belief and support from a company.
“It’s an honor. From now on we can focus on building our way forward.
“We’re not too far away and it would be really nice to do something great together.
“It’s exciting to see what the next few years will bring.”
KTM Motorsport Director Pit Beirer added: “This has been a very easy contract for us because we love Brad as a racing driver and what he brings to the team, the factory and the MotoGP class.
“He was also very enthusiastic to be involved with us and that says a lot about our progress and our potential in this championship.
“Sometimes you find a racing driver and a mentality that really fits your philosophy and the fact that Brad has come to the very top with us in ten years is a very special story.
“We are really proud to continue racing with him and to keep setting new goals together.”
Binder’s current team-mate Miguel Oliveira is expected to extend his stint at KTM after joining the factory squad this year.
At Tech 3, KTM appears to be shaking up its line-up there after it became known that the automatic extension period for Danilo Petrucci’s contract has expired and KTM has not exercised the option.
Ajo squad Moto2 leaders Remy Gardner and Raul Fernandez are linked to MotoGP promotions for 2022.
