After qualifying for the San Marino MotoGP GP, Joan Mir criticized Marc Márquez for following him during qualifying in search of a fast bike. Something that doesn’t seem to upset the six-time champion.
In a press conference that was motorcycle racing, the Repsol Honda rider said that he had already spoken to Mir and that the Spaniard had clarified it for him personally.
- In qualifying, I didn’t follow me, but Stefan Bradl. Basically we did a very good job – it was my idea, HRC accepted it. He attacked at the front and I was able to set a good lap time behind Bradl and qualify for Q2. I’ve already spoken to Me in the press room and he told me don’t worry what they ask because I’m not pushing as they say. He said it was normal for the slower driver to try to follow the faster one. This is a matter of course when riding a motorcycle, as long as you don’t disturb the other.
