The Japanese brand has finally decided to introduce the brand new Yamaha R15 V4 and R15 M to the Indian market at a price starting from Rs.1.68 lakhs (ex showroom, Delhi). Do you remember the brand new R7? The all-new R15 V4 and R15 M are inspired by this, with a similar bi-functional projector headlamp, DRLs, air intake and an all-new fairing with a redesigned windshield. Speaking of the rear profile of the brand new motorcycle: it has been re-profiled to match the new design. As claimed by Yamaha, the R15 V4 and R15 M get a USD fork for the first time, which works extremely well in conjunction with the rear monoshock unit. A new instrument cluster with dual modes such as “Street” and “Track” has also been added for the MY2021.
Several color schemes have made their debut. More precisely: Dark Knight, Racing Blue and Metallic Red.

The seats on the R15 M use a slightly different material. Several differentiating elements such as golden brake calipers and 3D badging on the fuel tank also ensure that the exclusivity is maintained.
For the R15 M model, colors such as Metallic Gray and Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition are available.

At their heart, both models are powered by a liquid-cooled 155 cm³ single-cylinder engine. According to the Japanese brand, this new BS6 compliant engine is really capable of producing a massive 18.4hp horsepower and maximum torque of 14.2Nm while paired with a 6-speed gearbox. There is even a quickshifter that is only available in the Racing Blue and R15 M variants.

Yamaha has decided to add several optional accessories such as ankle guards, frame sliders, LED indicators, underrun protection, etc.

Suzuki recently introduced Gixxer SF with additional colors and finishes. To begin with, it is powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 249 cm³, which produces an enormous output of 26.5 hp and a maximum torque of 22.2 Nm. In terms of functions, it gets full LED lighting, a digital instrument cluster, two-channel ABS, etc., to name a few.
