The poster for the Octo Grand Prix 2021 in San Marino and the Rimini Riviera from September 17th to 19th at the Misano World Circuit bears the signature of Drudi Performance and summarizes the values that enrich the event of the World Championship, as usual starts the countdown towards the week that is eagerly awaited by all fans. It will be the sixteenth edition in a row and will certainly offer a very high-quality spectacle, measured against the level of competition of the drivers and the races held so far, as well as the announced wildcards. The theme of the poster is Motor Valley, Riders’ Land and Ducati. With the colors of the Republic of San Marino and the beaches of the Rimini Riviera. With an allusion to the World Ducati Week 2022, which promises to be unforgettable after a two-year forced break.
“We emphasized the Made in Italy theme – says designer Aldo Drudi – and in the motor valley of Emilia-Romagna It was natural to focus on Ducati. The strong red color was then incorporated into a graphically balanced design to recall other elements: the uniqueness of the route with its texture colors the flag of the country of drivers, the Rimini Riviera and the Republic of San Marino. We changed the texture to the colors of the sand and introduced the blue of the sky and sea that also identifies San Marino. We were almost surprised by the result, which in our opinion has an effective effect as a graphics application. It still has a “racing” effect, but in a context that makes it a challenging project. We are very satisfied, a style that is reminiscent of Made in Italy stands out and we are sure that we will see it again in the future graphic language of teams and drivers.
Two months before the Grand Prix, with the caution required by the current phase of the epidemic, The organizers are confident that the vaccination campaign and the organizational format developed and tested in 2020 will convince with 10,000 spectators every day the government authorizes the daily entry of 23,000 people, about 25% of the total capacity, with the exception of general lawns and a personal ticket.
