As they continue to grow and aim for higher places in the ranking, Lee Hardy Racing today formalized Ryan Vickers’ contract extension for the 2021 BSB British Superbike season. In recent weeks, an agreement has been reached between the parties that the talented 21-year-old will ride the brand new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR under the banner of the RAF (Royal Air Force) for the third time in a row.
Vickers confirmed
The 2018 champion of the British SuperStock 600, a native of Thetford, reached the BSB with the chevron of a “predestined” replacement for Jake Dixon. Ryan Vickers, however, experienced the first two years extremely unsteady: ups and downs and numerous slips. After an unsatisfied 2020 – in the end 15th place with a meager 45 points – in the coming season the 21-year-old needs to improve in this regard. if possible, try to fight for the top spots again. With the brand new Ninja ZX-10RR, the prerequisites for reaching the podium in the British top class are given.
“I’m very excited to be able to compete with the same team for the third year in a row,” said Ryan Vickers. “I enjoy working with them and will be involved in developing the new Kawasaki ZX-10RR in 2021. Together we reached fifth place, which is my best result in the BSB. So my goal for 2021 will be to make further progress in superbikes.”

Not just BSB, because Lee Hardy Racing has decided to expand its project within the British SuperStock 1000, where the expert Lewis Rollo will be giving another Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR. A fixture in the category, he recently had a wonderful season on an Aprilia (with a win at Oulton Park too) and in 2021 he will fight for the title at full speed, hoping to make it into the BSB 2022.
